Yamawa at MetalMadrid

Sorma Ibérica (www.sormaiberica.com), the new Master Distributor of Yamawa threading solutions for the Iberian region, makes its official debut in Spain at MetalMadrid fair trade (Hall 8/E36).

In such an important year characterized by the celebrations for Yamawa first century of business, the distribution network in Europe continues to strengthen with the appointment of Sorma Ibérica as a new Master Distributor for Spain and Portugal, with the objective of providing first class technical and commercial support to the current distributors and customers in the region.

A broad range of high performance taps

Among all products on showcase at Sorma Ibérica stand, the high-performance tap series Z-PRO VU – quickly become a technological benchmark in many industrial fields among European users – are worth a special mention. To answer to the most recent users’ demands, Yamawa’s has recently added new types to the initial range, such as the VUSP CH with central coolant hole or the VUSP 1.5P type for blind holes, with short chamfer. A wide range of oversized tolerances ISO3X(6GX), 7GX, ISO2X(6HX)+100 is also available in the catalog since last June.

Solutions for Automotive and Mold&Die Industries

The automotive sector benefits from Yamawa MH Series, a family of taps featuring specific geometries, substrate, and coating to offer the maximum performance on alloy steels and medium-hard carbon steels. Part of the MH Series are the MHSP taps for blind holes, the MHSL for through holes, and the forming taps MHRZ. MHSL Mini, small taps specifically designed to address tool manufacturer needs, complete the series.

Finally, the high-performance “red ring” PM taps, a series that can meet the operational needs of the mold and die industry for a wide range of ISO P materials, from high carbon steels to high tensile strength steels up to 45 HRC and represents the best and most efficient threading solution in the entire 25-45 HRC hardness range. Made of Premium super high-speed steel, PM taps feature a specific geometry that makes them extremely strong and wear resistant.

Sorma Ibérica management and staff will welcome visitors and customers at MetalMadrid, Hall 8/E36.
