Designed for applications requiring extreme precision and superior surface finishes, the EHRZ roll tap eliminates the challenges of chip management through advanced forming technology.

The EHRZ’s performance is driven by a unique thread relief design developed by Yamawa’s R&D team in Japan. This geometry, combined with a specialized high-performance coating, creates a synergy that:
- Significantly minimizes tapping torque: reducing mechanical stress on both the tool and the spindle.
- Extends tool life: maintaining consistent thread accuracy over long production cycles.
- Optimizes cooling: the flutes are slightly wider than that of conventional roll taps to allow for increased lubricant volume, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and wear resistance.
Field performance: 42CrMo4 case study
