The evolution of roll forming for steels up to 40 HRC and stainless steels—now available for the European market.

Following up to recent introduction of the EHRZ roll forming tap, Yamawa expands its lineup for the European market with the new EHRZ CH (CH90 – Coolant Holes 90°).
The coolant channel configuration, positioned perpendicular to the tool axis, optimizes coolant flow during thread forming in steel up to 40 HRC and stainless steel.

Technical advantages of the EHRZ CH roll forming tap:

  • Maximized coolant flow: radial delivery directs coolant fluid straight to the chamfer and forming zone, ensuring superior cooling and lubrication in both blind and through-hole applications.
  • Complete chip and debris evacuation: precise coolant targeting removes residual chips and debris left from prior operations.
  • Reliable and stable Machining: the T-design CH90 radial holes system with solid seal on the top, rules out any issues resulting from failure and loss of seal at the welded cap, typical of most competitors’ products.
