Yamawa: new catalogue for Europe
Yamawa, the leading Japanese manufacturer of threading tools, announces the availability of the new Products Catalogue 2016-2017: a comprehensive range of taps, dies and centering tools, specifically tailored on the European market needs. The publication of the catalogue follows the recent foundation of Yamawa Europe, the new European subsidiary based in Venice, Italy.
With more than 900 pages, 15000 product items and a rich section dedicated to technical information, the new catalogue is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. The focus is primarily on DIN standard tools to meet the requirement of the European market, but the catalogue features almost the entire production range of the Japanese manufacturer, including ANSI and JIS standard solutions.
Among all the new products added to range with new catalogue, the following new DIN standard products are worth special mentioning:
- The new high performance roll taps MHRZ for medium-hard steel;
- The AU universal high performance taps family, now extended up to diameter 20mm for M and MF threads;
- The MHSL taps for high performance tapping of through holes on medium-hard steel;
- The AXE-HT taps for high performance tapping of die-cast aluminum.
The availability of DIN standard has extended now also to the carbide taps EH-CT for hardened steel (up to 55 HRC) and UH-CT for hardened steel (up to 63 HRC) and to the whole range of high speed tapping solutions of the FAST and ULTRA FAST series.
“This is a significant first step for Yamawa Europe. Just a few months after the beginning of operations, we are presenting a brand new comprehensive catalogue, designed and created for the European market – said Alessandro Sorgato, CEO Yamawa Europe – Additionally, we are also working on a series of tools to provide further support to our partners and customers”.
The catalogue – which is in English – will be complemented by the Quick Guide, available in all the main European languages, allowing to select easily and rapidly the most suitable solution based on specific parameters such as work-piece material, type of hole, cutting speed requirements and machines available.
To present the new catalogue and the new tools available to its main distributors, Yamawa Europe has kicked-off a “European tour” covering most of the countries in the continent, considering of the highest importance not only the technical formation, but also the direct contact with partners in the field, in order to get valuable feedback and foster continuous improvement.
